Tough decision as to whether greed will win out over ideology. I own a fair amount of their stock and it's tripled in value over the last 5 years.

My wife and I have closed our account at BofA...an account we've had for more than 20 years. Tomorrow I will cancel my VISA card issued by MBNA, now owned by BofA. We will send a letter to the CEO explaining our reasons. I expect a reply right after Hell freezes over.

I wrote BofA yesterday- told them I was going to close my account, and have persuaded my wife and son to not open BofA accounts.
BofA sent a lame canned response that was very vague.
Sounds like Bank of Mexico (in America).
