After the media Obasm last month you would have thought everyone got a clue...
The worst scenario would be for something to happen to Hellary while president - we'll have the first muslim in the WH. Lights out for the country unless we have an American Pinochet.
Well it all depends... If Hillary has to "take him down", it won't be pretty & Obama won't be her #2. If, on the other hand, Obama gets dropped by a 'phantom punch', ie. he drops for no obvious reason, then it's possible...
I think I heard that Obama is nowhere in the polls in either Iowa or NH. Given the way the Media loves "Momentum", it's possble that Obama will essentially be done early in the primary season. Money has a way of drying-up if the votes don't materialize. And we all know how the Media respects fundraising.

They do NOT "support the troops", they support whatever will bring them the House, Senate, and Presidency in '08.
Their goal in the next two years is to undermine the war and the economy to their favor, blame W for it, and get the ignant publik to believe them. That is all.

That does not matter at all- a HilLIARy/Obama ticket guarantees the black vote and the women vote
I already know several dumb women who will vote for hilLIARy because "maybe a woman can do a better job" (they really said that and meant it)
From a purely cynical standpoint (which defines Hillary to a "T"), I can see it only as a means for grabbing as many votes as possible.
However, the political styles and experience between them could be summed up in the old song title "Two different worlds". Should this nightmare coalition come together, not only is America in for a VERY bad time, but the upper strata of our government is in for a battle royale that would rival the nastiest of the nastiest divorces.
Obama better be VERY sure this is what he wants before he signs a pact with THIS devil!!

I bet there will only be "air jabs" between the two of them for awhile.
They won't be allowed to inflict any real damage to each other's campaign...for just that reason.
you got it exactly- HilLIARy cannot get elected on her own. People hate her. But if Obama and the former sinkmeister are doing the campaign for her she can shuddup and coast with a guaranteed women/black vote.
If she has to stand front and center for the next two years she will not last through the primaries
History and a broad cross-section of comments from this site strongly suggest that no one cares what the VP's qualifications are. The Prez is the rock star and that's all anyone pays any attention to . . . . . . and very little of that!!

I agree - I think it'll be Richardson. He was a loyal foot soldier in Slick's administration, he's Hispanic, he's from a western state, and people won't be as nervous about him as they would be about Obama's lack of experience and spotty personal background (not to mention that Obama is a smoker!)
Well if the ticket order were reversed we would be talking about another arkancide here
