So if you accept both and if Rudy is reaching out to the social right by promising to appoint "strict constitutionalists" to the SCOTUS....meaning justices that will overturn RvW ...

Rudy recently said that gun laws are a state issue properly made such by federalism.

Yet in 1997, in response to a terrorist shooting at the Empire State Building, he actively supported Clinton-proposed federal gun control laws to impose stricter gun controls on other states.

So he's a liar right there. His own history betrays him.
