Most Republicans don't support someone with liberal views on abortion gay marriage like Giuliani. And the polls also showed that a disturbing amount of Republicans don't even know of Giuliani's views on abortion and gay marriage. We've got a lot of work to do to educate them.

I assure you that Hillary Clinton will do a fine job of educating the voting public when it comes to Rudy's liberal record. She knows full well that her party's liberals will not cross the aisle to vote for Rudy... ...and that revealing his stances will destroy any chance he has of winning a general election.

We'll educate them (GOP voters who aren't aware of Rudy's policies, stance or promotion of everything that they object to, as pro-life conservatives.) Good for Rudy coming out this early, though it will be very tough on him when the layers get peeled away.

Right now, it's a popularity, name recognition contest. Naturally, the big money guys want to put their money behind the winner but this is not a sprint, it's a long distance run and every serious candidate has a research and publicity team who will make sure that everything that can be learned about a primary opponent, will be out in the open at least "leaked to the press."

Your efforts sound more like indoctrination.

The biggest red flag for Giuliani has to be that only 42 percent of Republicans surveyed correctly identified him as pro-choice.

More telling is that 58% of these same GOPers expect word of discovery of Iraq's WMD's sometime soon. :-)

"We've got a lot of work to do to educate them."

We need to write letters to editors, and call talk shows, and let conservatives know that Rudy stands for this:

Rudy is against the 2nd amendment, is pro-abortion, including pba, pro-illegal immigration, pro-special rights for gays, and even believes in MAN-MADE global warming? He is a lib!

Are you willing to prostitute your values a little, or a lot in order to keep a democrat out of the White House?

I support selecting a republican candidate at the national convention who I can vote for without prostituting my core values.

Well spiff, bottom line is that you rudy bashing will likely be as effective as your efforts to get randy graf elected.

That border thing is really working out well too with Nancy, Harry and the rest of their pals in charge.

All fine and good but the problem is to find someone to beat him. McCain is the only one with a chance and he is more hated than just about anyone.

So until you can answer the questions "Why can't the Right field a candidate who can get any traction?" and "How do we communicate to the average voter that the GOP is not a coven of evil?" Nov's conservative wipeout clearly shows that until we can conservativism is in trouble having been successfully painted as religious extremism by the Treason Media.

Im glad to see this post. I looked at the Fox Opinion Dynamics poll too, and noted the number of people who think Rudy is pro-life.

There are a sizable number of people who really are not aware of Rudy's personal history, associations with NARAL and most disturbingly to me and others...his statements posted by you and others regarding the banning of PARTIAL BIRTH ABORTION.

If Rudy manages to get the nomination.....the Dems will go into full frontal slimeball assault mode...and alot of it will be factual.

These ads will run in areas with large concentrations of ethnic and Black voters...areas of Catholic, evangelical, and Orthodox Jew....but especially in rural Black and Hispanic areas.

How do you think black or Hispanic males from these areas, who are traditional in their approach to male / female relationships and the family (the latins call it "machismo") will react...on an EMOTIONAL LEVEL to the sight of Rudy in drag??

How do they think an Arab male who is looking at a future terrorist recruitment poster, one with the President of the United States in fishnets and mascara will react...the evil corrupt Satan society, which Allah must destroy...wait...thats another topic entirely...WOT and all that....

The Dems will try to eliminate the crossover socially conservative voters that helped put George Bush back in the WH in 2004....and they will succeed.

And then there is the issue that will be raised in every Woman's grocery checkout magazine....of Hillary as the cuckold wife...victimized and humiliated by the knowledge that her philandering husband had cheated on her...with Monica and others....

I can see the tears flowing on Oprah...all the soccer moms feeeeelllin' empathy for Hillary...just trying to be the bestest First Lady she can be, while give us and the children health care...in between baking cookies for Chelsea and Webb of course.

You women Rudy fans..you GOTTA know how the dems and MSM will play this up....

Rudy is tailor made for Hillary and her MSM enabled slime machine....they know it...we know it.

George Bush barely won in 2000 and 2004.. And Giuliani will get obviously fewer votes than George did.. Romney and McLaim even less.. if they survive the primarys...

Someone is in a serious delusion.. and denial..
And I don't think SLAPPING THEM will get their attention..
