I believe the Ark is in Ethophia, where the Christians are in the majority. The Ark was believed to be taken down to there. There is a church that was built to hold the Ark and that even there is a monk who keeps guard watch.
Do not be suprised that it was the same country that went into next door Somalia not only to free the latter around Christmas from the Islamic courts, but to protect the former and this very special treasure they are holding.

I seriously considered that bunch of evidence . . . exceedingly inconclusive, imho. IIRC, there are 3 churches there all claiming that a different ark is the real one. And the things purported to be the ark in occasional processions are too small.
I just don't think it's there.
