I forget the guy's first name--someone up thread has a comment.
But he became a lay archeologist in his later years. Claimed to be digging around under Golgatha--the one by the bus station . . . and to have stumbled into--with a lot of painstaking effort, actually--into tunnels and angel guarded rooms . . . and even the Ark of the Covenant--took a video of it--but realized that the video would not be safe so left it too with the angels . . . And that the crack that evidently happened with the quake at the Crucifixion went right through the hole of the evidently central Cross . . . and allowed Christ's blood to flow down onto the Aark of the Covenant Mercy Seat. I think he may have even scraped some of the blood for analysis but I'm not sure. No report of such analysis.
Anyway--he sealed things up after touching base with Israeli officials and all agreeing it was not time yet.
Then he died.
Some have asserted he was a charlatan. And some folks carrying on his website have in subsequent diggings failed to confirm his earlier claims under golgatha, evidently per an above post.
But his discovery of ancient Egyptian chariot wheels in the dead sea on both sides of the Dead Sea where the most logical crossing for Moses would have been--that discovery has stood up.
Personally, I think Christ's blood on the Mercy seat sounds like something God would do. We shall see eventually if it's really true or not.

Tried to save a word file in Html and the Office 2003 html editor was not loaded. Couldn't be found on the CD. coudn't get any help at the Microslop site ......... and keyboard software or some such is acting up . . . though system scans clean...........

No wonder I haven't heard from you in a while. I loathe computer wars. I happen to be what is called an "electric" person. This means I have an electical charge that sometimes causes havok with electronics.
When my computer goes fizzy, I hollar for my husband. All he has to do is walk in the room and the computer obeys. Makes me look really dumb.
I have broken all of my calculators, about four sewing machines and can never wear a watch. Poor MIL bought me so many. Oh well, we all need to be unique in some way.
Sorry about your health. What are you doing for both types of ... er ... congestion?

There is no way the ark would harm a Christian. The ark symbolized God's presence with His people. If you are a Christian you are indwelt by the Holy Spirit (God), and therefore are already in God's presence.
However, should it be found, a Christian should treat it with great respect. Some think it is the finding of the ark that will trigger the Jews to build the temple. Exciting times are ahead.
The book of Daniel in the Bible, in reference to the "seventieth week" (the soon-to-come 7-year Tribulation), mentions, "...in the midst of the week he (the Antichrist) shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease..." Many including myself believe this means the temple will have been rebuilt in Jerusalem and old-testament animal sacrifice will have resumed. I've wondered what it would take to have the mosque removed so the temple could be built. Looks like the Muslims may help.
