That's not entirely true. Camp Val Cartier is in Independent Andre Arthur's riding (Portneuf--Jacques-Cartier). (He might as well be a Conservative, though, no?). And the Quebec riding (covering the old city) is still in the hands of the Bloc (as are nearby Montmorency-Charlevoix-Haute-Cote-Nord and Saint-Maurice-Champlain).

It IS true that no Liberal holds a Parliamentary seat within 100 miles of Camp Val Cartier, though.

I forgot to comment on the original post. How is a general telling the truth about budget cuts a Conservative prop? He didn't say the military was decimated throughout the Liberal's tenure - just 10 years starting in 1994. The liberals were still in power during 2005.
