Interesting that the percentage of those willing to vote for a liberal (R) Republican are about the same as the national polls that favor Giuliani. So while only approximately 1/3 support him, how does he propose to pull the party together?
Or is he merely a stalking horse for the liberal left to regain control of the White House?

How is Rudy a "liberal-left Republican"? he lowered Taxes, reduced Government. Threw Yassir Arafat out of the ball, Stared down the race hucksters, threw people off welfare,Even in the 90's he said we needed better border security. He shutdown blasphemous "art" displays. Threw porno out of times Square. Supports the fight in Iraq and opposed gay marriage. why because he says he is for abortion. Even Barry Goldwater when he left the Senate fessed up he was for it. At least Rudy says what most other GOP Senators and rep's believe secretly.

The only way the Left can win is to destroy the Republican Party from within.
They have lost the public argument and cannot win on the issues, they have to have despotic judges do it for them and they have to undermine conservatives in the Republican primary.
(This is the entire reason they have state drives for open primaries, non-partisan legislatures, messing with the electoral college and other electoral scams.)
