WFOR-CBS4 reporter arrested in traffic stop

WFOR-CBS4 investigative reporter Mike Kirsch was arrested this morning after police say he assaulted an officer during a traffic stop.
While taking his daughter to school in Doral, Kirsch made an illegal U-turn and was pulled over by a Miami-Dade officer, police said.
He threatened the officer and charged her, police said.

BSO's Police Benevolent Association's website posted a mock police bulletin warning of Kirsch's reporting. It included his home address, date of birth and driver's license number. The flier was later removed from the website.
Yea, the where hunting him.

Pray to the Lord you are never arrested by the NOPD for being drunk and disorderly...... Man down there, they *beat* people. I remember that after Katrina some cops from out west who came to help were taken aback at New Orleans police procedure.

I was stationed at Bolxi in the early 70s.
N.O. cops were so bad, we were warned not to go drinkiing down there.
Too many bad stories.

Yeah, let's do a little waiting for the facts to come out before picking sides on this one. A reading of the story does give creedence to the idea that this might be payback.

I think the current count is 3 NO cops on death row in Louisiana. New Orleans has always been slightly better than a Mexican border town, but worse than the interior Mexican cities.
