Read Giuliani's full statement. It says "unsure as to amount".
"Scientists have been telling us for the last 50-100 years, the Earth has been going through a period of warming since the end of the last ice age."
Irrelevant. The component due to man burning stuff is a real term in the sum total. That term must be addressed. There's no big hurry though, and no justification to turn over the energy supply to the watermellons.
"Looks like Rudy is solidly with the liberals, AGAIN!"
No, it doesn't look like that at all.
What do you mean? Isn't this the time to support who you want? Isn't this the time to make the case for who you think can win and why you think so?
I see no good coming from antagonism or hostility or pressure or rudeness. But I'm not sure why those who support Rudy need to offer anything to anyone? What are the supporters of other candidates offering? I guess I don't understand where you are coming from here.
Rudy will draw in the libertarian type voter. Libertarians are not known for winning elections.
[GEORGE] WILL: Is your support of partial birth abortion firm?
Mayor GIULIANI: All of my positions are firm. I have strong viewpoints. I express them. And I--I do not think that it makes sense to be changing your position....
ABC News February 6, 2000
TUCHMAN: Giuliani was then asked whether he supports a ban on what critics call partial-birth abortions, something Bush strongly supports.
GIULIANI: No, I have not supported that, and I don't see my position on that changing.
- CNN December 2, 1999
MR. RUSSERT: A banning of late-term abortions, so-called partial-birth abortions--you're against that?
MAYOR GIULIANI: I'm against it in New York, because in New York...
MR. RUSSERT: Well, if you were a senator, would you vote with the president or against the president? [Note: President Clinton was in office in 2000]
MAYOR GIULIANI: I would vote to preserve the option for women. I think that choice is a very difficult one. It's a very, very--it's one in which people of conscious have very, very different opinions. I think the better thing for America to do is to leave that choice to the woman, because it affects her probably more than anyone else....
MR. RUSSERT: So you won't change your view on late-term abortion in order to get the Conservative Party endorsement?
MAYOR GIULIANI: It isn't just that. We shouldn't limit this to one issue. I'm generally not going to change my views
- NBC Meet the Press, February 6, 2000
When you believe in things, you don't understand, then you suffer.
~~~ S.Wonder
Obviously, you like spinning, and you like suffering, a lot.
.....I still think you underestimate him....his dumb like a fox...surrounding himself with conservatives and his poll numbers aren't just from Libertarians....though I don't put much stock in poll numbers as they are more a popularity contest at this point.....
We post these Rudy posts because a few of us decided we like Rudy so we started a ping list that started out with only about 4 people now it's almost 200. The people who are on the Rudy ping list want to see how the Rudy candidacy is going so we post whatever we can for them and for us to discuss. We are not forcing anyone to go on these threads. We use the ping list to let them know when there is a Rudy thread being posted. If anyone wants off the ping list we are more than happy to do it. No one is forcing anything down anybody's throat. We also are wondering where all the other threads are on the other candidates just like you are. We are wondering why the people who don't like Rudy are not posting threads on their guy? Instead they prefer to come over to our threads and blast Rudy instead of promoting their guy. That's the way it is. Plain and simple.
Some are, some aren't.
Why don't you wait to see how it all shakes out in the primaries before you create a religious test.
Wow! Lotsa folks signing up for Rudy. Must be the Free Abortions for Everybody he promises.
I see the facts aren't getting in the way of a good agenda among some of the ragers. I doubt anybody is surprised.
You need help! Please see that you get it!
Well, if your intention is to be scientific about it, you cannot derive the outcome of a complex equation based on a the assumptions of the effects of the 'real term' you wish to 'address'. Additionally, climate change is not a simple function of summation. Maybe it's best you keep that type of calculus to your grocery list.
Just added one myself. LOL!
Jim and Mods have warned FReepers many times about abusing the keyword listing. The rules apply to you too.
You've already been warned off once by the mods.
