Scientists skeptical of climate-change theories say they are increasingly coming under attack -- treatment that may make other analysts less likely to present contrarian views about global warming. "In general, if you do not agree with the consensus that we are headed toward disaster, you are treated like a pariah," said William O'Keefe, chief executive officer of the Marshall Institute, which assesses scientific issues that shape public policy. "It's ironic that a field based on challenging unproven theories attacks skeptics in a very unhealthy way." Two climatologists in Democrat-leaning states, David Legates in Delaware and George Taylor in Oregon, have come under fire for expressing skepticism about the origins of climate change. Oregon Gov. Theodore R. Kulongoski is publicly seeking to strip Mr. Taylor, widely known as the state's climatologist, of his position because of his stance.

They are under attack from the propoents of the Rockefeller Foundation, and other groups branching off of this one...to promote the agenda of the NWO. There is no question. Global warming is a scam to obtain their needed legislation and increase their control before their next phase.

There is no fix for global warming. Nature will take care of things in the long run with long term global climate cycles. Since the socialists and liberals can't do anything to control it, they have transformed it into a religion based on ignorance and worry.
Al Gore's next step will call for the sacrifice of virgins by throwing them into the nearest volcano to appease the Global Warming Gods.
IMO, the Global Warming proponents are about to be rendered into the Flat Earth Society category.
It will be interesting to see how many of them try to deny their past association with this bogus "science".
They can huff and puff all they like, but the science is about to completely and totally overwhelm their politics.
What is funny, is that 20 years from now people will look back and see Al Gore as the biggest idiot.

Being treated like a pariah inthe field of science is nothing new, There are movies that have been made that show this, many scientists with new theories have been pariahs, A couple I remember seeing are about Dr. Ehrlich and his Magic Bullet. Edison was laughed at for his electric light, Bell for his phone.
Scientists should have open minds, the ones who say Global warming is destroying us have looked at some phenomenons and made theirs up, they ignore the other side,and other evidence of the question,because it doesnt match their theories.
Are Human Beings contributing to Global warming?
We probably are, But to what extent? Mars is warming we didnt contribute there, The Earth goes thru cycles, the sun may be hotter. Can we actually change things back?
No way. Not and survive with a way of life we now have.
Would you do away with all industry,all automobiles, nobody flies or stays warm in winter? It isnt going to happen.
Oh. we can give carbon credits to another part of the world ,we can buy them and sell them , but does trading pollution from the United States to China cut down on the total pollution or just place it in a different spot?
Kyoto and trading carbon credits is a scheme to destroy one country while building another . It isnt a solution nor is it even close.
See what's missing in this crimminal fraud? No one is insisting that OBL fall for it. Just sit tight OBL, the US will bear all expense, and get the planet all spic and span, and turn it over to you.
The science does not matter--it is all about the $$ and politics. No matter what happens to the climate, you will have people interpret it as the effect of Global Warming. If they don't, the MSM, the Policial Class, and the "scientific" Commisars in their ranks will eviserate them.

I have come to the conclusion that "honest politician" is an oxymoron just like "honest lawyer" is.

Like I say, the science will triumph. Every era's pariah's and heretics have turned into guru's and visionaries by the science that vindicated them.
The same is true here. The GW crowd is the squeaky wheel for now, but they are about to be silenced by the sheer volume of the science that will overwhelm them.
One thing is certain, future generations who study us will have lots of entertainment from the hysteria of the GW crowd.
Science is not about freedom of speech. It is about CONFORMING to the scientific method.
Yet, Political Correctness and free market are contrary to the scientific method.
