Is this the presser that we were anticipating?

There are many steps in the process. This is one of the preliminary steps, which can be a single Accusation or a series of Accusations. The penultimate step is the Ultimatum. That step is weeks away.

If we bomb Irans weapons, that should be enough to change the situation in the worlds favor.

You idea sound good except for the fact Iran's military infrastructure is probably in the middle of the civilian residences. And we probably cannot afford to pick another fight right now.

Good point, however can we afford not to?

I do see what you're saying and have been following this line of thinking. Someone had posted that there would be a presser today over there, and I also found this nice long article on FoxNews site:

U.S. Commanders Showed Lawmakers Explosives That Came From Iran, Official Says

The civil war is, in actuality, an Iranian invasion.

Nancy Pelosi and the anti-American gang has the mindset that only the USA invades, the rest are fighting for freedom.

How ironic that democrat's promote the stifling of democracy while a Republican POTUS is working to promote it in Iraq.

I think we should seek more effective and cheaper alternatives than all out war. Because Iran can easily send missiles to our military bases in Iraq.

Someone may know more about the Kurds, but so far, they seem to be the bane of the Arabs and Iranians. All the Kurds want is their own homeland. I don't think they care about "converting" all heathens to Muslim religion.

So why not supply good military hardware and training to these people. Give the Iranian mullahs something else to chew on instead of bugging us...

Have to disagree with that comment, mining of the ports is quite doable

1.) doesn't mean it will shut down all traffic, just cause major consternation as to just which port has the most mines, definitely slows down boat traffic

2.) gets to slam a few hulls with high explosives, hopefully Iranian Navy

3.) makes a statement and is fully a part of an overall strategy

The item is being featured on many news reports now, since there is little else happening but Obama. Some Congressmen are expressing interest in the report. Slow news weekend is an excellent opportunity to get this smoking gun firmly embedded in the news cycle. Still at the Accusation phase. Demands should originate in Congress if this procedure is to be strictly correct. Congress could even move to Declaration of War, which they should.

Of course you know 'hard intel" rarely survives in the press or in political wars in Washington. Carl Levin (Dhimmi- Mich) is presently attacking the intel services over 4 year old intel. An agenda to discredit the collectors for future use?

An option to consider, however as history has shown, today's allies can very well be tomorrows enemies.

Reference my tag line.

Opps, I misread, I saw PORTS not borders

These peopel are driving on the roads, not camels or donkeys across the frontier

However, the Ports are still a good idea. :)

Much more than he and his political crones are attacking those who support terrorism.

What is the righteous and entrenched agenda of these people?

Mines, cruise missiles? Spank - all out assault, I reference Conan's words when asked about his definition of Victory. You all know the answer, most of you have seen the film more than once.

I mean, what more do you need than hard physical evidence?

I could, you know, extrapolate to the immigration problem here .... but I won't.

Ahem.
