This would be encouraging if it came from anyone else but Fred Barnes.

McConnell is one of the few GOP senators with balls.

It sounds like Republicans have been schooled on being a minority by the democrats. Too bad someone didnt school them on how to be a majority.

McConnell is one of the few GOP senators with balls.

And the DBM is starting to take notice of that, which means that they will very soon decide that McConnell must be utterly and completely destroyed.

I dont think it is necessairly Reid running rings around Frist or McConnel running rings around Reid, the Senate Rules are such that the minority has tremedous power to stop the majority.....and we should be thankful for that

I was thinking the same thing. Conservative pundits should just Shhhhhhhh . . . and let him do his job. Publicly praising a job well done will put a target on a good man's back.

I read an article once were the writer theorized that we may see demrule in the House and possibly the Senate but see the GOP hold the White House like the situation we had with Nixon, Reagan, Bush 41, as people don't like concentrated power but prefer the heavier hand of the republicans in dealing with threats. I don't know how true that is but it seems the GOP is better as the minority party in the senate than the majority

True. But even a broken clock is right twice a day. Hopefully Barnes stumbled upon an accurate analysis.

The rules of the Senate make it possible for the minority to block just about anything that they don't like.

Seems as if McConnell might just understand what has conservatives angry.

How refreshing.

Well, Fred doesn't exactly have a very good track record when it comes to predicting the future.
He's more of a Christmas Past kinda guy.
