Hellary has a free pass to turn any direction on a dime.
The media paints it as her "diverse" and "dynamic" persona.
It's something that induces vomit in the strongest of us.

I've cleaned the toilet for this very special event.

Unfortunately I disagree....In fact I think Hillary may be in trouble because of Obama. We all may be in trouble. He has charisma, and the press.

I heard the other night...that both Obama and Hillary have said they are skipping the debates for now...
NOW...you guys tell me...how OBAMA thinks he has the RIGHT to skip ANY debate, considering no one knows anything about him..except he is black and can give a speech???
Also...if HILLARY gets by without attending debates...then I call BS on any election...somehow WE cannot let her get into the White House by dodging the hard questions.
To: Txsleuth
He thinks he can get away with it because he knows the media is behind him
Also note how Durbin was at his rally today and not throwing his support behind Hellary
You can bet this has all been planned and vetting in the dem ranks on how to play this all out

I thought I saw Webb in the background as well.

So they will eat up all the free stuff the dems are promising Free???...what free stuff???...if you work for a living, nothing is free...middle class voters know this better than anyone...

Being both black and a female, I agree with your position. Voters in this country are not about to vote for a black guy and a woman 1) in the middle of a war, 2) together, without either a black or a woman having already been president.
REPLY:
I think your comment is biased whether intended or unintended.
I think there are enough airheads in the Dimocrat party to help this guy go a long way.
If you are saying that my CWV(Common White Voter) thinking about Obama being a bleeding heart charlatan and an over the top liberal is biased then your are 100% correct but 100% wrong for intimating it is also racism.
As for voting for a black I have no qualms at all.
However, they should at least believe in America's true values.
If a worthy woman runs she will get my vote.
Why is it that many women and minorities have been duped by the MSM into believing that race and sex play bigger parts in politics than it really does?
This may be true in Liberals political thinking but not for most conservatives who vote generally on the agendas put forth by the candidates.
Your comment leads me to believe that you may have already jumped on Obama's bandwagon with out giving much thought to the things for which he really stands.
Just my opinion.

WE cannot let her get into the White House by dodging the hard questions.I don't think we can afford another 8 years of a Clinton co-presidency under any circumstances.

You still don't get my point. I was not calling you a bigot.
I was pointing out how the media will use that against anyone making such a valid observation, and twist it into some Politically Correct demagoguery.
You read too much between the lines.
To: veronica
I pray the Dems run with a Hillary/Obama ticket. Talk about a GOP landslide. On the contrary...that my friend is a winning ticket for the democrats. The republicans have absolutely nothing to offer in 2008 presidential election. The republicans would be wise to spend their time and effort winning back the House or Senate or both to counter a democratic president.

I agree with you. Obama may be spouting from the Marxist manual, but he was charismatic. He was offering people a way to change their lives (by supporting him). He was positive about his agenda. He didn't bash Bush in his speech. I think Hillary's war room will be leaking private info about him soon.
Obama, compared to Hillary, looks good. He has that whole let's be the generation that does this and does that. His announcement was exciting, compared to Hillary's. I think if the DBM plays this up as much as they did Hill's announcement he may be the frontrunner soon.

I thought I saw Webb in the background as well. I didn't see that .. but if he was .. it was to show military support to Obama

It's a form of political genius that the masses have no understanding of.
They will play him up into Savior status, only to later team him up as Hellary's VP. That combination will be nearly unbeatable in this newly moderate country.
To: kabar
The MSM and the Dems need a viable opponent to put against Hillary just to maintain interest in their primaries. Exactly! Everybody likes a horse race...personally, I don't think this guy is going anywhere....it's all pomp and circumstance....

Webb will be a cabinet choice for sure, either A.G., S.S. or S.D. (Probably S.D.)
