In 1983, Sen. Edward M. Kennedy offered to help the Soviets mount a public-relations offensive in the United States. This propaganda attack would target President Reagan and his policies. These are the same policies that eventually ended the Cold War and reduced the possibility of nuclear annihilation. This charge was made by Paul Kengor in his book "The Crusader: Ronald Reagan and the Fall of Communism."
No, Kennedy should become a christams tree ornament swinging in the breeze from a lamp post.
"I propose he comes to Connecticut to become a 'sandwich'."
"Reportedly..Mr. Tunney said that he had indeed contacted the Soviets on behalf of several U.S. senators not just Mr. Kennedy. So...did some of the Democratic Party leadership offer to work with the Soviet KGB against Mr. Reagan? If so, were they later blackmailed into working for the KGB and against the United States on other fronts? How many Democratic politicians were compromised and later blackmailed?" I have to wonder where Leaky Leahy comes into all of this?
Money Quote: Reportedly, after Mr. Reagan left office, Mr. Tunney said that he had indeed contacted the Soviets on behalf of several U.S. senators not just Mr. Kennedy. So, the question is, did some of the Democratic Party leadership offer to work with the Soviet KGB against Mr. Reagan? If so, were they later blackmailed into working for the KGB and against the United States on other fronts? How many Democratic politicians were compromised and later blackmailed? Lastly, if they were controlled by the Soviets, are they now "influenced" by the Russians? Inquiring minds want to know. Any foreign influence over U.S. politicians could have drastic consequences in the politically charged atmosphere seen in today's Washington. The bottom line is that if there is any shred of truth in these documented stories, the senator from Massachusetts, as well as any other compromised politicians, should resign or be kicked out of the Senate or Congress.
I don't think they even need to blackmail them. They cooperate willingly, seems to me.
I have no doubt that the recent "Joe Kennedy - Hero" ads, showing him single-handledly saving the elderly and poor from being frozen to death by the Evil Bush White House, are part of the plan to replace Ted Kennedy with Joe as MA senator. These loathsome ads show Joe personally delivering Venezualian oil to poor people that Bush and Cheney are trying to freeze to death in Massachusetts. Joe makes $385,000 a year by being "president" of Citizens Oil, just one of dozens of cushy, no-work "jobs" the Kennedys enjoy as part of their lives of leisure, a legalcy of Joe, Sr.'s career in crime.
Kennedy and the Dems working against a sitting U.S. president, and for the Communists? Color me shocked.
Was this part of the FBI info that Hillary has held over the dems' heads ..?? Curious?

Well don't hold your breath waiting for that to happen
We all know of John Kerrys talks with the Viet Cong.
Now we find why he and Kennedy are such great friends. They have a common trait.
TREASON. TREASON TREASON TREASON TREASON
GOP controlled congress should hold hearings. Wait...
This book would be a great topic for the talk show circuit. The clueless American people need to hear the truth for a change about the traitors among us.
Kennedy never paid any price for killing that woman, so why should he pay a price for treason?
Does this include the traitors that are working so feverishly to eliminate our border defenses, or does it selectively choose only those traitors that collaborated directly with the Soviets and the Chinese?
And the beat goes on......
The guy is a traitor, and should be dealt with accordingly.
No disagreement here.
"were they later blackmailed into working for the KGB and against the United States on other fronts?
I don't think they even need to blackmail them. They cooperate willingly, seems to me."
I will bet there are several hundred missing "FBI Files" that would prove this.
