I think I have had enough however. People here are starting to talk about muslims and quoting way too much ancient history. None of this had anything to do with all that. Any person, unknown, handing out anything - I don't care if they were passing out flowers, would have been asked to leave. It was about safety. If everyone here chooses to believe some big conspiracy theory, they can stay in that little world. Here's hoping you continue keep your mind open. Nice to meet you.

Just to point out that if it is not acceptable to profile, then make sure it applies to Christians, too. I should have added a sarcasm tag or pointed out the double standard.

By the way, how did you find out about this site? Was it just because you say (and I will take you at your word) that you were there when this happened, that you were cruising the news search engines and found the FR because quotes were listed there? Or because your buddies at DU told you to sign up?

Even the newspaper reports that the deputy didn't arrest them UNTIL the individuals CALLED the S.O. to complain! This schmuck of a Barney Fife felt intimidated by the men and took it out on them by ARRESTING them!

And as far as the sheriff is a republican and a conservative who is Mayor of Key West, lets see him enforce the same laws about obstructing public thoroughfares, public intoxication, lewd and lascivious activity, indecent exposure in Key West during any of their Gay & Lesbian throw downs that they celebrate.

Key West USED to be a nice place, before every perv on the Eastern Seaboard showed up.

Marathon has nicer people than any of the other keys!
