I bet the Founding Fathers would have given the Gideons access to the public school classrooms of that day if that organization existed in the 18th Century. When you consider that the Continental Congress appropriated funds for the distribution of Bibles and even provided support for missionaries who taught reading to the Indians, they surely would be considered out of step with today's preferred values free environment.

The Library of Congress has good web site in reference to our Christian heritage. I have it bookmarked and use it to help educate my own children. LINK Enjoy!

No one took issue with the bibles. I keep telling you that (can anyone say "brick wall?" "deaf ears?")One would think that would make you feel better. Still you keep digging your heels in. I bet you are stomping your feet and throwing a tantrum also. The founding fathers would be so proud of your childish bullying.
