If a Speaker was from Hawaii, she would be entitled to secure transport and a C-20 probably won't do it. Let her land and refuel at a military base.

And the argument wasn't that she wanted it to fly her, or her entourage, it was that she wanted it to fly her entourage, when she wasn't on it.

No, I haven't looked up a C-20's range, but it may not have the legs to get from a Calif to Hawaii. That's the point.

I don't think Pelosi likes the prospect of being surrounded with military guys. Pelosi wanted an airplane from the Air Force One fleet.
