The number 3 person in the chain of command should have security and probably should have an ability to travel commensurate with real needs.

If the C-20 was sufficient for Hastert, then perhaps some kind of upgrade would be sufficient for the new speaker given the greater distance. I don't think it should be an AirForce 3, 747, but it should be secure, fast, and reasonably equipped.

This would hold for all speakers in the future.

I don't think this should be a partisan issue. It should be a practical one.

You are wrong! This plane can easily fly to the West Coast with no refueling stop -- you bought into the Pelosi koolaide.

No she should not be entitled to take a plane out of the active inventory to be on stand-by for her. No she should not be given a plane that the press and her family and other Congressional members can ride. That is not the responsibility of USAF!

She gets the plane like Hastert or gets lost!

The American people did not elect her -- she is from one louzy district in CA.

If it can't fly cross country she should get a new plane. That said, she doesn't need one capable of carrying dozens of people.

Pelosi, 2 aides, and a small security force is sufficient...she certainly doesn't need a capacity of more than 12-13 people.
