He says now that he has always believed that marriage should be between a man and a woman, but just a short while ago he was adamantly and publicly opposed to the country taking action to define marriage as such. No, Rudy didn't oppose a ban on civil unions - he opposed a ban on same-sex marriage. That is a contradiction; and it is a lie for him to say he has always supported the aforementioned definition.
