This should clear up the voting matter. The definition of vote is "to express one's preference for a candidate or for a measure or resolution through ballot or roll call". I would say Hitman is correct on this one.

Oh yeah, George W. Nixon didn't vote for McCain/Feingold, the Supreme Court did.
