I'm with ya, Babe. But there is absolutely no reason why anyone who believes in conservatism, can't fight to capture the nomination. Conservatives got to stand up and be counted in the primaries. It is the only way for us to recapture the party.

The dems didn't WIN...the GOP lost.
Now..I truly think there are 2 things that are VERY important...more important that the "conservative social issues"...
The main one is...we HAVE to have someone that not only is strong on National defense...but will NOT kowtow at all to the Dems and anti-war faction.
Wasn't Rudy the one that gave back money to a Saudi Arabian after 9/11 because it was from a country that had terrorists???
Rudy is about the most "articulate" spokesperson regarding our fight with Islam, of all the candidates..that I have heard.
That doesn't mean that Duncan Hunter is worse..but, how many people have heard Duncan Hunter's views??
Also...we have to find someone that WILL be able to WIN, because if we lose...it won't matter if that person is Jesus Christ.
Oh..one other thing.
I think where we conservatives REALLY need to concentrate is getting the CONGRESS back with conservatives.
We have seen how LITTLE Pres. Bush has been able to do, even with a GOP majority re: Same sex marriage, Roe V. Wade...etc.
But, if we don't concentrate on getting back in the Majority in the Congress, even if the PERFECT POTUS candidate came along it wouldn't get us much.
