Oh..one other thing.

I think where we conservatives REALLY need to concentrate is getting the CONGRESS back with conservatives.

We have seen how LITTLE Pres. Bush has been able to do, even with a GOP majority re: Same sex marriage, Roe V. Wade...etc.

But, if we don't concentrate on getting back in the Majority in the Congress, even if the PERFECT POTUS candidate came along it wouldn't get us much.

Absolutely, hence my emphasis on participating heavily in the primaries.

We need to toss the likes of Spector and get Pat Toomey in for example.

You can't win if you don't play! We need to correct the Disgracey Casey win and that of Geo. Allen. We need to get Webbs arogant arse busted.

That's it exactly. I have tried to argue that and evidently a lot of people disagree. If congress is controlled by good conservatives it won't be a disaster if the president is a RINO and not a real conservative. If congress is still controlled by Democrats and Hillary is president, they will "fix" the system so that no Republican or conservative will be elected to anything important ever again in our lifetimes. As much as I would like for there to be a new Ronald Reagan I'm not going to pin all my hopes on that. The most important thing is to win back congress and not put all the eggs in one basket in the hopes that there is some ideal candidate who will be president.
