Regarding gun control, how many here knew that Reagan actively pursued gun control legislation after being shot?

Like I said, I just ignore them.

No, I heard him. I akso know that what Rudy thinks is just like all the other politicians. Except Hunter and Tancredo and neither will do well nationally.

Yeah. He lied and used that as a basis for a baseless lawsuit. He is a liberal lawyer. A RINO.

Hey there is a lot to like about the guy. He just isn't a conservative, and that is a major stumbling block for many.

A bunch of political double talk.
Rudy said that he was against abortion, but was pro "a woman's right to choose." The woman's right to choose he was talking about is her "right" to murder her innocent unborn children in cold blood. Government sanctioned and in some cases taxpayer funded murder of innocent unborn children, and on a mass scale at that, is just about the most evil thing a government can do. There certainly should be no place in America for that.
Furthermore, he says he believes Roe vs Wade is settled law. Roe vs Wade is about the most unsettled law there ever was. In fact it's not even law at all. It was made up out of whole cloth by a handful of liberal activist judges in black robes. Nowhere in any of our founding documents will you find a woman's right to murder or a judges power to make law empowering her to do so.
He says he's against gay marriage, but pro "gay rights." Again, double talk. You won't find mention of any special rights for homosexuals anywhere in the founding documents.
He says he's for the constitution and understands the second amendment but then goes on to say that it was perfectly right for the government to go after guns in large cities. As if the mayor has special right to violate the second amendment? And as if a gun is an evil criminal thing? No way does he respect or even understand our most basic constitutional rights.
And he says he would appoint strict constructionist judges? Well how would he know? He just admitted to completely ignoring the constitution in the three major cases noted above.
And he also stated that he appointed over 100 judges while mayor of NYC. Were they all, or even mostly, or even any at all strict constructionists? Hopefully, we'll be able to find out from the record.

So, from what you learned from the Reagan presidency makes you want to get behind someone more blatantly liberal than Reagan?

Are you insinuating that all these people on this thread have been hoodwinked by the MSM into supporting Rudy?
And he is not "my guy."

Well now, that sounds mighty reasonable to me.
So Rudy went after gun manufacturers who were doing business illegally.
I guess it never occurred to the spammer that some of those guns just might kill cops.
Why, Reagan himself would have supported that legislation. Just like he supported the Brady Bill.
