Breaking on Fox News. Giuliani Files Statement of Candidacy for President
No article yet.
I don't even want to think of that. I might get night sweats if the dims were more gun-ho than the GOP.
Not on the war she can't. She's already moving left on that. Unlike many Republicans in the House and Senate, Rudy hasn't wavered in supporting the President and the war.
IMHO, each is too intrinsic to the national interests and security of our nation and the morally constrained liberty upon which it is based.
"Care to point out where the chart is misleading?
Too many disinformation bits, lies, distortions and omission to enumerate.
I love the sound of Rudy! Rudy! Short and sweet. As well of "President Rudy today..." on the news.
"Not on the war she can't. She's already moving left on that. Unlike many Republicans in the House and Senate, Rudy hasn't wavered in supporting the President and the war."
So she is going by the polls? Left on the Iraq war and right on social issues and gun rights? If she picks Richardson or Obama she is going to be hard to take down. And scandal-ridden Giuliani ain't got a chance.
Interesting post in view of my post# 305. ;o)
I hope he won't be the nominee. But if it's Giuliani vs Hillary, I'll be voting for Giuliani. If you think 3rd party is a better alternative for the country, that's the way you'll go, but I'll not as I did during the electoral campaign that there are differences between Republicans and Democrats, and if collectively "conservatives" stay home, or vote 3rd party, they should do that accepting that the Republican Party will likely move left. Where the vots are. "Conservative" in quotes because I don't think most will either stay home or vote 3rd party.
Did you know that Bill Richardson got a strong NRA gubernatorial endorsement back in September?
no, my nic is not representative of my true age. I'm older than 19 and regardless of what age you think my opinion represents, it's still my opinion.
Newt is NOT a serious candidate! He has now pushed forward his decision making, vis-a-vis whether or not to enter the primary, until OCTOBER! Just give him another couple of weeks and it'll be NOVEMBER. He's playing games and being coy. I've heard him repeatedly say that now he is more interested in working in a "BIPARTISAN MANNER", with everyone.
Some people revere him for the same reason they think that the FFs were "gods"......his and the FFs'/ vocabulary is better than theirs.
Newt was a great backbencher, but when he held the reins of power, he fell apart.
Ah, and you would be a 'volunteer' I suppose. ;9)
Nope, not a teen, almost twice that actually.
Like I said, just my opinion and I agree, she is NO woman.
Hasn't the GOP learned it's lesson yet? Bush nearly lost to Gore. Had Gore not been involved with Slick Bush would have never won in 2000 because he was too close on policy to the DEMS. Poppy lost as well playing DEM as did Bob Dole. The GOP doesn't fair well running Liberal. They loose their shirt.
Hillary can be two candidates. She can be Liberal as the DEMs want her to be and as Conservative as any Liberal Republican in her speeches in Conservative venues such as Conservative colleges. She will take Rudi to the cleaners. Rudi is about as Liberal as Hillary is {going on his spoken and written record which is what sane persons should actually consider} and I can not for the life of me understand why people are pushing him. Just happening to be mayor on 9/11 of an attacked city is not a qualifier for POTUS.
Lieberman supported the war in Iraq and supports the Patriot Act. The Rudy supporters have stated over and over that the WOT is the one issue they are concerned about, so why all of a sudden are taxes & spending a consideration?
All I see when I see Rudy is another baby killing, sodomite supporting, illegal alien loving, gun grabbing, big-government liberal with a disgraceful personal life. Once the rest of America sees the true Rudy he'll be a mere footnote in the 2008 race.
Besides the garlic, pepper & parsley, put some fresh rosemary on that pork roast, PhiKapMom....now that's Italian.
"If Rino Rudy wins the primaries, I will go third party."
I live in a very safe state which the republican party is a lock to win in presidential elections. If Giuliani wins the primary, and Gilchrist does indeed become the constitution party nominee like the media says he's likely to be, then I'll most likely join you and go third party too.
McCain and Giuliani must be stopped in the primary. I'll even settle for Mitt Romney.
