Police said Lewis drove away before pulling over about one-half mile from the crash site and flagging down a passing motorist, who happened to be Titusville Police Department Chaplain Rev. Ray Johnson.Musta not been an illegal, as he eventually stopped.

I never had roadkill before. I didn't know the stupid bird had landed in the bed of my truck. It wasn't until lunchtime (about 6 hours later) when one of the laborers went to fetch everyone’s lunchbox that the chicken was found. I forgot who took it home, but it wasn't me.
