It will be interesting to see what his hired advisors have him run as.
Look at this excerpt:
>>Either McCain or Giuliani could run and win as an independent. Either one could raise the money. Giuliani, released from the deadly confines of a Republican primary, would find his liberal social views on abortion, guns, and gays to be an asset, not a fatal flaw. McCain's legendary independence on issues like tobacco regulation, tough corporate governance, campaign-finance reform, global warming, torture of terror suspects and immigration would no longer be seen as straying from GOP orthodoxy once he left the Republican primaries, but would become the basis for a very attractive campaign platform. <<
Just what are these deadly confines we Republicans have? Morals?
I hope he does go as an Independent or Democrat. That is where he belongs.
Giuliani accepted $1,000 from NARAL in 1999. NARAL gave $250 to Hillary Rodham Clinton and $1000--- 4 times as much-----to pro-abortion Giuliani.
Clearly, NARAL trusted Rudy's pro-abortion credentials, and Rudy's willingness to advance NARAL's radical abortion-on-demand agenda, even more than NARAL trusted Hillary.
NARAL donated exclusively to Democrat candidates with one exception----Rudy Giuliani.
Rudy was guest speaker and made The Opening Remarks to the N.A.R.A.L. "Champions of Choice" Luncheon few years back.
Let's just ask Rudy when he and his wife last attended a pro-life rally. Was it before or after Judy and Rudy marched in the gay rights parade? Or maybe it was after Rudy declared his unwavering support for partial birth abortions? Or before Rudy told Phil Donahue he'd give his daughter the money for an abortion (to get rid of his own grandchild).
Rudy left his party affiliation blank when he filled out official paperwork leading some to believe he is leaving the door open to run as a third party.
However, Rudy's "invested" bigtime in the Repub party and has apparently made several commitments to his handlers (in exchange for big bucks support).
Rudy's hard at work now dumping Republican social conservatives overboard---something his handlers desperately want. This would allow them to control every aspect of US politics and government.
Rudy's intentions to marginalize and dump social conservatives are clear: (1) Rudy has calculatedly made plans to avoid "conservative" campaign events. (2) Rudy's strategy includes not entering primaries in primarily conservative states.
