Yes I did read the entire page. I'm not positive about who the 2 judges were. I've heard one was Segal, a family court judge who ordered the state to provide proof of abuse before he would allow them to remove children from their homes. Dem Koch's opinions of Giuliani and Freedman are irrelevant, because they are just that opinions. That a Dem is defending a Homeless Advocate judge is hardly surprising.

And... Giuliani also said this, quoted in the same source:

THIS IS AN AREA IN WHICH REASONABLE MINDS CAN DIFFER ABOUT THE APPLICATION OF THE LAW TO THE FACTS.

I posted that link because it provided the FACTS about the Merit Selection System in NYC, and how Giuliani changed it to serve his interests. The above quote is not unlike Giuliani's behavior when he defied federal courts and SCOTUS on the reporting of illegal aliens in his city.

changed it? in what, 2 instances with cause? big deal.

I am not focusing on Koch's opinion - read Giuliani's own quotes there about that judge - does it sound like he supports liberal judicial activism?

"THEY BECOME THE PURVEYORS OF POLICY RATHER THAN
DECIDERS OF CASES THAT COME BEFORE THEM." "SHE
ISN'T RULING ON THE LAW, SHE'S RULING ON HER OWN
PERSONAL IDEOLOGY."
