What's interesting here is that there are a lot of Freepers who insist that Rudy Giuliani is somehow a conservative candidate for a presidential election, and yet he was never really even conservative by New York City standards.

He ran for mayor three times in New York City (1989, 1993, and 1997) -- and he never got the Conservative Party endorsement in any of them. Yet he managed to secure the endorsement of the Liberal Party for at least one of those campaigns.
