I've been lurking with interest. Based on what I see now, I really think that the GOP candidate will be McCain, Rudy, Mitt, or some combination of two of the three. Though all three seem to be objectionable to many Freepers, I can barely wait to throw my complete support to the ticket.
My number one issue is the war against Islamofascism. I can live with a pro-choice or pro-gay rights Republican candidate, as long as they want to kill as many Islamic totalitiarians as is humanly possible.

There are two issues in 2008: WOT and Hillary.
If the enemy gets wise to your approach, then GAY terrorists may start streaming across the Mexican border (remember, RINO-rudy is also pro-illegal-alien) in an effort to kill as many American babies as possible (of course, they will be warmly greeted by NARAL, the demonRAT party, and RINOs like rudy, to name just a few of the pro-death coalition).
If THIS sounds a bit ridiculous, just think how ridiculous your support of a gay-loving, abortion-supporting, gun-grabbing, illegal-greeting RINO like rudy as a REPUBLICAN Presidential candidate is!
Then I think you're number one choice from those three should be McCaine. At least he has some military background. His main drawbacks are that he appears to hate free speech and he's a presidential backstabber. Guess the latter won't matter so much once Bush's term is up.
