You should be proud of Rudy's liberalism. He is.
If you say so...
I've been lurking with interest. Based on what I see now, I really think that the GOP candidate will be McCain, Rudy, Mitt, or some combination of two of the three. Though all three seem to be objectionable to many Freepers, I can barely wait to throw my complete support to the ticket.
My number one issue is the war against Islamofascism. I can live with a pro-choice or pro-gay rights Republican candidate, as long as they want to kill as many Islamic totalitiarians as is humanly possible.
Just for the record, I have never voted a third party since becoming a Republican in 1980.
Same here! I agree with your analysis too!
Why not try making your case instead of hurling invective?
Giuliani makes the case for us... HIS RECORD!
Works for me. Don't be a stranger!
You may be the first person to agree with me all day!
Well, I'm supporting Rudy, and if the powers that be here want me to leave, all they have to do is ask. The whiners who just think they run things are free to bite me.
I'm sure rudy is as much a conservative as Arlen Specter is. :-)
ROFLOL!
I don't know. Some people think I'm fairly strange!
You are not alone! There are more of us that feel the same then you can imagine but not as vocal as some of us are! :)
What say you?
Of the candidates now announced with what I consider a reasonable chance to win, I'd support (1) Hunter (2) Romney (3) Rudy... and yes, if it were Hillary or Obama versus McCain, I'd hold my nose with both hands and vote McCain.
I also say, I'm tired of flashbunny's mindless spam on every thread.
That sums it up pretty good for me too!
Fortunately, we do not have to vote tomorrow.
I look forward to voting FOR a candidate that I can support in 2008.
If you feel that way, go ahead and leave.
Just stop telling us about it over and over.
just because others are working frantically to make sure this complete RINO( one who doesn't agree with the platform) doesn't win, does not mean they are third partiers.
Unless something has changed, the Rudy supporters have every right to make the case for their candidate of choice.
Much as that might kill you all.
BTW, "frantic" was a good choice of words.
Picture this:
Ambitious NY prosecuting attorney, wet behind the ears, gets hired by Reagan's justice department. Most legal work is not done grandstanding in front of a grand jury - it's grinding, pedantic, detail-centered work.
Fast forward. Ambitious young attorney breaks (well, to a point) the Mafia in our nation's largest city. Many are no longer victims of extortion and neighborhoods are no longer unilateral homogeneous centers of vice, drugs, and crime. Said young attorney enters politics.
Ambitious young former Federal prosecutor becomes Mayor of New York City.
Life is fluid, Sir. You speak to the room, but your record speaks for itself louder.
There are two issues in 2008: WOT and Hillary.
