I don't know about anyone else, but I am still waiting for Michael Schiavo to make a correction on his blog about what "actually" took place in Colorado when he went there (to the debate) to supposedly ask Congresswoman Musgrave one question and she and her staff supposedly tried to have him removed. He called it, "My unreal night in Colorado - with radio link" (Thu Oct 26, 2006 at 08:05:14 PM PST). I'll say (from what I read) that it was his "unreal night".
As I said before in "Standing up and Admitting a Mistake: Not Schiavo's Style?", if four uniformed officers were around my seat, I would have some idea of what was going on. I certainly wouldn't be sitting in "duh mode" to only be told later of what took place right there around me, as Michael suggests he was. If Michael's account is realistic -- his response and reaction is not. Nor is his response appropriate now that he has "learned" what he was "allegedly told" is not what took place. One would think if he can't get the words out that he was mistaken, he could at least have removed the inaccurate entry from his blog.
He has done neither.
I'm also still waiting to read about, "Also, maybe tomorrow I'll post about my election-eve rally with Bill Clinton in Florida." (A real election impact by Michael Schiavo, Thu Nov 09, 2006 at 10:40:34 AM PST). Indeed, I would love to read that story by Michael, since I read it was not possible. Not if he was implying it was the Bill Clinton that is the former President of the United States. Will be interesting to see what he says about that if he ever does.
If Michael couldn't get it straight what happened at the Musgrave debate or even if he spent election-eve with former President Bill Clinton -- do you suppose he might have gotten Terri Schiavo's wishes mixed-up as well? (He does claim to have a bad memory from what I read.) Makes one wonder. At least makes me wonder. Whatever...
I'm still waiting for the corrections if not the explanations!
Carrie Hutchens is a former law enforcement officer and a freelance writer who is active in fighting against the death culture movement and the injustices within the judicial and law enforcement systems.
Yet, despite the furor over the case of Terry Schiavo, who languished for years in a coma as much of the country debated what she would have wanted, research shows that less than a quarter of Americans put in writing what they want in end-of-life care. Not many more have taken steps to authorize someone to handle their finances.
"Our generation is encountering these crises more than any previous generation," said Myers. "It would behoove people to take the bull by the horns and get the documents they and their parents are going to need."
A will is most people's first concern, but elder-law specialists say it is equally important for older people to sign documents known as durable powers of attorney, designating agents to act for them if they become incapacitated.
"I tell people they have the choice of appointing someone or allowing a family member to get themselves appointed by a court and in that case, you won't have any input because you're incapacitated," said elder-law attorney Jean Galloway Ball of Fairfax, Va. "The child you never got along with could be running your life."
Seeing parents' documents now can head off a bind later

Thread from rhema. Thanks, narses.
Anti-abortion activists are reaching aggressively to draw more blacks into their movement, targeting urban communities they long have considered hostile turf.
They are opening crisis pregnancy centers in minority neighborhoods, establishing partnerships with black pastors and distributing leaflets that raise suspicion about Planned Parenthood, a longtime provider of reproductive health care and abortions .
Framing their cause as the new frontier in civil rights - an effort to stop "black genocide" - these activists have turned to revered names in black history. A niece of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.'s is touring the nation, speaking out against "the war on the womb." The great-great-granddaughter of Dred Scott recently compared Roe v. Wade to the 1857 Supreme Court decision bearing her ancestor's name, a ruling declaring blacks so inferior that they had no rights.

Sorry to be late stopping by. I was over in another thread enjoying what the military calls a target-rich environment.
Thank you!
And about time! Sanger and her descendants at Planned Parenthood have been none too subtle about killing black babies and breaking up black families. They never learned that God's family is all races and every child is precious.
You aren't dropping the logic bomb on poor little trolls again, are you? You know how they fret.
"And, finally, they paid more respect to and had more compassion for a racehorse than they did my sister."
What a great line!! Look at the uproar over pets dying in America
because of tainted pet food. Nary a wimper about baby Emilio, or
the others like Terri who suffer the cruel and unusual treatment
of dehydration.
No pain, no gain. You have to be ever-so-gentle and kind about it, but they will never get better unless you show them how to rejoice in liberty and life abundant.
It was somewhat telling this weekend to be reminded once again just how many supposed conservatives cheered Terri's murder.
>> Notre Dame law professor O. Carter Snead argues powerfully that the Florida courts "abandoned" their "clear and convincing" standard, thus making it impossible "to have any confidence that Mrs. Schiavo's actual intentions were honored." Snead says further that Judge Greer applied the standard "in an unrigorous and unreliable manner " while relying on evidence that constituted "a veritable parade of every species of presumptively unreliable statement long rejected by courts across the nation called upon to adjudicate end of life disputes."
I myself am 100% persuaded that Judge Greer twisted the law thus for prejudicial purposes. I think it is a highly reasonable presumption that he did it in private consulation with George Felos. I will even go so far as to suppose that this twisting was recognized, giggled about, and the very reason that the brigands in the lawyer business gave Greer his awards for advancing the techniques of judicial execution.
Yes. But -- unless horribly misinformed -- they weren't conservatives. They were leftists who deliberately disguised themselves to spread propaganda. They were frauds, seminar callers, wolves in sheep's clothing. Some are like Islamic jihadists, pretending to sound American but succeeding only in emulating Murtha or Kerry. Some are like Bishop Lynch, apostate but too evil to admit it and resign. They keep their old membership here but they meet on other web sites and plot pack hunts in FR. Some never pretended to be conservative in the first place.
They think they can get away with presenting themselves as conservative. They are wrong. Their words and thought soon give them away.
I'm shocked!
good morning. Let us remember that Pope John Paul died two years ago today.
>>Offhand, no. Of course there have been scads of articles. Perhaps if we can get more specific, it might tweak the right memory.

One of the visitors posted a link in that other thread. I'll bet that's where Al Jazeera got its info too, like the rest of them. I didn't bother looking at their site. We all hear it parroted every day by the puppets. Simply told the visitors that we Freepers don't need to "outsource our thinking."

Looks to be about 15, maybe 16 Loot Froops marching for a "news" photographer. If we have somebody versed in handwriting analysis, have a look. To my amateur eye, it looks as if all of the signs were lettered by the same person... Probably the "news" photographer, come to think of it.

April 2, 2007 (LifeSiteNews.com) - A year ago this weekend, March 31, marks the second anniversary of the death of Theresa Marie "Terri" Schiavo, who died after being denied nutrition and hydration for two weeks. The manner of death was certified as "undetermined".
Father Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life and a friend of the Schindler family, said this weekend, "Terri's case remains shrouded in massive ignorance."
Most mainstream media outlets claimed that Terri was "terminally ill" or "on life support" but she breathed without a respirator and doctors agreed that she was likely to live for many years.
Pavone said, "She was brain-injured, and therefore some thought she was disposable. The cause of her death - dehydration - was deliberately introduced. That's called killing. While there is such a thing as a useless treatment, there is no such thing as a useless life."
In February 1990, Terri Schiavo collapsed under medical circumstances that were never fully explained. She was left disabled and dependent upon care and assisted nutrition and hydration. In 1998, her husband and legal guardian, Michael Schiavo, petitioned the Pinellas County Circuit Court to remove her feeding tube.
Terri's parents fought the order, however, saying that she responded to them and was conscious. After seven years, 14 legal appeals; innumerable motions, petitions, investigations, and hearings; legislation passed and overturned and even appeals from the Vatican, Michael Schiavo won the final case and Terri died march 31, 2005, after surviving two weeks without fluids.
Letters and appeals poured in from around the world to try to save her, and the Terri Schiavo case became synonymous with the struggle between the euthanasia movement and advocates of the sanctity of life.
Cardinal Renato Martino, head of the Vatican's Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, begged Florida officials to allow Terri to live. "She will die a horrible and cruel death," The Cardinal said, "She will not simply die; she will have death inflicted upon her over a number of terrible days even weeks . . . how is it that this woman, who has done nothing wrong, will suffer a fate which society would never tolerate in the case of a convicted murderer or anyone else convicted of the most horrendous crimes?"
Shortly after Terri's death, Fr. Pavone, who was with her up to five minutes before, recalled, "Do you know that police officers were standing over that bed at every moment, every moment - armed police officers - making sure we didn't dip our hands in that water and put it on her tongue. Armed police officers enforcing the culture of death."

TROY, Mich., Apr. 2 /Christian Newswire/ -- The following is submitted for publication by James Sterling:
A Ford Expedition was pulled over by Troy police Thursday for speeding on I-75 and lo-and-behold it turns out the vehicle contained a street value of over $1-million dollars worth of cocaine. Folks, I ask you, what idiots with 12-kilos of cocaine in their vehicle would attract attention by speeding? I give you, Anthony Lorenzo Gonzalez, 21, and Andon Filipi, 27, both of Arlington Heights, Illinois. Anyone affiliated with them can get the pair out of jail by paying the mere sums of $1.2 million for Filipi and $600,000.00 for Gonzalez, these are straight-up bonds - no 10%.
The Communist Party of America recently found some old documents of songwriter, labor organizer, communist Joe Hill who was executed by firing squad in 1915 and donated them to New York University. NYU lapped up the communist documents like a dog laps up toilet water. The documents contain decades of party history including founding documents, secret code words, personal letters, smuggled directives from Moscow and some other junk.
A Taylor, Michigan mother offered up her daughter, 7, for sex and pornographic pictures to an undercover officer. The mother was arrested Friday at a motel in Romulus. The woman had a website where she conducted business as a prostitute.
Saturday marked the second anniversary of Terri Schiavos death. Terri you will recall was murdered by court ordered starvation/dehydration. Terri died on March 31, 2005.
* Bond amount in first item is corrected in this release.
