President Carter's national security adviser said Thursday the Iraq war was likely to lead to "a head-on conflict" with Iran and other parts of the Muslim world. This from a guy too chicken to take on Iran when it should have been taken on.

Brezinski fails to forecast the outcome for his vision. It doesn't sound very good for any stability whatsoever.
It sounds like, step back and let the chaos ensue.

President Carter's national security adviser... I stopped reading right there.

Glad Brzezinski is writing scenarios by which the USA fighting Iran is America's fault. I'm reminded of a Lex Luther quote from Superman II: "All this accumulated brainpower and these people can't figure out how to use a doorknob."
Do any of them EVER acknowledge that Iran is a state sponsor of terrorism, our sworn enemy, a nuclear threat, and killer of our troops - and that changing those facts should be a key objective?
Instead, the democrats are hell bent on PROTECTING Syria and Iran.

"likely to be a head-on conflict with Iran and with much of the world of Islam at large"
Brezinksi does not admit:
(1) that this "head-on conflict" between the U.S. and "much of the world of Islam" was in fact announced by many leaders in "much of the world of Islam" many years ago, even prior to Osama bin Laden's formal declarations of it,
and
(2) that the "head on conflict" between the U.S. and Iran was and remains a foundational principle of the regime in Tehran from its inception,
and therefore, he refuses to further acknowledge:
(3) that our activity in Iraq is in fact a delayed response to pre-existent "conflicts" declared against us - long preceding our activity in Iraq, and
(4) thus, our activity in Iraq is not a cause of either the "Muslim world's" or Iran's declared conflicts against us.
Which only further demonstrates why we are blessed that the Carter-Brezinski idiots are not in the White House today.

If the United States continues to be bogged down in a protracted bloody involvement in Iraq, and I emphasize what I am about to say, the final destination on this downhill track is likely to be a head-on conflict with Iran and with much of the world of Islam at large," Brzezinski said. If? We are in it already Bozo. And when you and the rest of the pansies have your way we will lose. Thank God for George W. Bush.
