"That is not a hair question."
"That is also not a hair question."
These guys are kind of funny.
That is a SCRAPPLEFACE Article!
That's a relief. I always get really nervous when I drive by one of these.
They won't be going to prison. In fact, they won't be convicted of any crime at all.
Actually, they were in cases with no protruding wires as you can see in a youtube video showing them placeing the signs. Foxnews took the casing off - presumably to make it look more ominous and embelish their news story. No reasonable person would have thought that was a bomb. Indeed, in 8 or 9 other cities where they were placed, there was no hysteria.
And all you Arab-American parents out there, don't let your kids bring their Lite-Brite on the airplane or you may get thrown in an internment camp.
Unfortunately a lot of people here think it was all hysterically funny and the punks are really cool.
Of course it wasn't their relative who was at the hospital waiting to talk to the doctor about their biopsy and x-ray results; they weren't in the ER with chest pain when the bomb squad showed up; they weren't stuck in traffic for 3 hours.
No, they'd rather accuse all Bostonians of being stupid.
adgirl, the source was scrappleface, posted on powerline.
It was (another) joke!
No plans to paint Aqua Teen logos on airplanes and fly them close to buildings and so forth.
They obvious skipped the 1970's, hence all the wonder and questions about hairstyles from then.
The traffic snarl is a result of the authorities panicking. The advertising ploy did not stop traffic only the hysterical reaction 10 days after they were put up. Put the blame correctly on the police and Boston authorities who can't ID a lite bright. It was obvious when you looked at one of these and they did not have to panic the city or shut down the city.

LOL! In my defense, I have been part of some of those creative meetings where stuff like that--and stuff that is even more tasteless and wild has been proposed. I just thought this time it got through. I am so glad to hear it was a spoof.
Too funny. I am so glad. I would of course fall for it hook, line and sinker having been in on some of those creative meetings where stuff like this is proposed. The agency involved is known for always pushing the envelope, I am pleasantly surprised to find out it wasn't true!
