I feel bad about the owners, riders, etc... with the loss of this pet that they cherished.
But this wasted coverage (Non sport related mind you) of a dead animal is severe overkill considering everything going on in the world. Of course just like sex, emotion sells which is why corruption goes unnoticed (Must think about that) everywhere.
Which fuels me to mockingly ask: Maybe the owners could contact Elmer's Products, Inc and make a lot of bank with 'Elmer's Barbaro Edition Hide Glue Sticks'.
Or Purina and come out with a special brand of Barbaro dog food (Flame suit on, set to the power of O type stars).

Read the editorial and see if you still think that - it addresses the very issues you raise.

This was a good public interest story. If they went on for weeks and month as about Natalie in Aruba then it would be overkill.
I have not even seen the TV coverage yet. Just heard on the radio and the internet.
