I read it, probably made some shed tears but still the same emotional 'pull your heart strings' news story which makes the NYT 'America's paper of record'.
While the NYT are busy spiking stories or lying about this country it's good to know they can take the time out and mourn the loss of a horse that won races, most prestigious the mint julep and fancy duds 1 1/4 mile race.
It's a sad sports story I will give it that but thats what I expect with sports, emotion, not the media overkill of a dead horse while editors dance with glee over a non-important story that sells.
