But if course they did, but out here in the West, horse meat is still prized by some (not me).

Oh, I've had horse a few times myself, but I still think burial on the farm is most likely.

I recall as a child, visiting Roosevelt's house at Hyde Park. His father, James, had kept horses and some of them were commemorated with plaques in the barn on which their tails were mounted. We're planning to go back to the Hudson River Valley soon; I wonder if those tails are still there, forty years later.

I feel bad about the owners, riders, etc... with the loss of this pet that they cherished.

But this wasted coverage (Non sport related mind you) of a dead animal is severe overkill considering everything going on in the world. Of course just like sex, emotion sells which is why corruption goes unnoticed (Must think about that) everywhere.

Which fuels me to mockingly ask: Maybe the owners could contact Elmer's Products, Inc and make a lot of bank with 'Elmer's Barbaro Edition Hide Glue Sticks'.

Or Purina and come out with a special brand of Barbaro dog food (Flame suit on, set to the power of O type stars).
