it gives her great cover for when she goes into mandatory hiding from August til Nov. of next year. She can claim she has already been out there answering the tough questions.(only she did it when it didn't really count)

Spot on. You know that is exactly the plan. That "conversation" she had with her supporters yesterday was so unbelievable scripted it was ridiculous. Her plan is to keep it that way and use a willing media to get back in the White House. This must NOT happen.
