The "spork" candidate, how clever. He is looking past the primary already, must have a total idiot in charge of his campaign.

Look at the McClatchy story... what the hell is an alleged religious fanatic? They would say that about me at my church.

A poster who is a friend of Hunter's family posted back in Sept/Oct(just before he announced) how the Demonrat party was trying to dig up dirt on him and apparently his opponent had NOTHING to go on in the Nov. election. I do think the Demonrats would worry about an articulate conservative who will set them straight and comes across strong, civil and has the military and personal credentials to back it up. Notice how the DNC has sent out press releases attacking Hunter now. Why waste your time on a so-called 'long shot' presidential candidate. He does worry them, no doubt.

Agreed. With twenty months until the election, it seems really soon for candidates to be out campaigning. Hillary came out early to stop Obama, but the rest on their side were all testing the water to see if they could overcome Hillary.

Besides, Hillary may be the candidate for the left but even that is still up for grabs, IMHO. If Hillary has a Howard Dean moment in the future, she could very well find herself out of the running. I know I would not bet that Hillary will keep her cool for almost two years. I don't think she has that in her.

He said that he will occasionally make appearances on Fox News...but, that he was flattered and proud that Roger Ailes had enough faith in him to offer him that job...

He also mentioned that Brit will still be the Managing Editor in Washington, so his job will be the same (I guess a lot of people, like myself thought Brit was the Bureau Chief)...

That is about it...he was very low keyed, but sounded totally awed that he was given the job.

That reminds me. Other than the 'missing Harvard years' (with photos), of Obama re: NYTs, it seems Obama's hi-pro glow is wearing off. It'll sizzle again once Hillary pegs him for her VP. /s

Now the two high-profile senators are at it again: They will deliver keynote speeches next Wednesday on "big ideas for America" to a gathering of 400 prominent business, political, non-profit and academic leaders, along with lobbyists, congressional aides and senior staffers for executive

Yea .. I have a big idea for those two

Duncan Hunter is a Vietnam veteran, and he has a son in the military in Fallujah...therefore, NO ONE will be able to accuse him of sending other parents' children off to war...

Yes, Texsleuth, Hunter has great credentials as a leader and patriot. We must ensure that the public sees and hears him often.

Thanks for the link to Duncan's web site , bushfamfan, I will be using it.
