Great post I agree.
My head is spinning!
Did you know troops took out hundreds last week? Of course not, who reported it. If they had they would all be women and children right? Funny how no one asks 'Where were the men', in those situations.
I hope they're capping the ones running for Iran as well.
Lebanon is still hot, of course; Even though Israel's not involved, i'm sure they'll be blamed.
Brit was good - so was Lieberman... last week Brit's words were great also - at least I think it was last week, they go sooo fast! The one I'm referring to is Brit expressing how important a united front, on this war, is. The only way to win this war on terrorism.
FoxNews is very hard, for me, to navigate. I've wanted to express my thanks to Brit, or seek a Sunday transcript with the group. I end up getting lost.
best bill clinton quote for this week....
Hilary is the best, Clinton said. During all those years I was harassed and stalked by all those women, she stood by me.
"Clinton said he believes he has overcome his fear of women enough to hit the campaign trail on Hillarys behalf. When youve been taken advantage of like I have been, you get a little gun-shy, Clinton admitted. But the country needs Hilary, so Ill have to suck it up and be brave enough to expose myself to risk.
Ill do whatever Im asked to do, the ex-president said. If they want a piece of me, they can have it. Ill drop everything if I have to. Whatever position they want me to take, Ill take. Wherever and whenever they want me to come, Ill come. I wont hold back.
"Senator Clinton said she was confident that Bill will find a satisfying role to play in the campaign.

Seriously, the thought did cross my mind that someone in the Clinton administration was actually on the ball and the transfer of missile technology to red China under them was all a clever cover for just this sort of capability. The ability to remote program or simply detonate Chinese ICBMs could be the ultimate missile defense.
The idea occured to me because I heard a story from someone who would actually be in a position to know that something had happened but was still officially secret in another, related context. The story is that Saddam Hussein's air defense IT system used networked printers from a single foreign company and they were serviced by foreign techs. Before the first Gulf War we supposedly managed to get one of those techs to flash the ROM on the networked printers providing our forces access to and the ability to mess with the air defense computers around Baghdad. According to this story this allowed us to use more than just the F-117s to bomb the Baghdad infrastructure the first night, allowing for a lot more missions to be flown than would have been possible with the limited number of stealth planes we had in theater.
Again, I don't know for a fact that the story is true, but the source is someone who is credible to me and has told me other things that have since checked out. At the least it planted this idea in my head.
Yes...I know, but that is because I have read about not only the goals of the Islamic radicals...but their methods.
Unfortunately, there is a hugh percentage of Americans that either don't take the time and effort (I was like that during the time my children were young)...OR, are so liberal, that they will think that the Muslims have the RIGHT to take over Detroit, Michigan, America...because WE are so wrong.
Dang .. I missed the official job change announcement .. caught the tribute from the staff. What did he say he'll be doing .. and not doing? Thanks, sleuthie.
ROTFLMAO !!
However, I will remind you of another former President who served only ONE term in the US Congress and 2 terms as a State Representative before becoming one of the great US Presidents of all time. This despite having NO "executive experience". -

Abraham Lincoln.
I agree. Also, other Dem candidates are waiting for the "front-runners" of today's news cycle to run out of steam.
So Rupubs and Dems could be running people that are way off the radar now.
;)
Garfield went from the House to the Presidency. It may be voted in a district, but being a Congressman and having been the Chairman of the Armed Services Committee, etc. has put him into national policy. He has plenty of experience and I think it's ridiculous. Lincoln was also only a Congressman.
Try the library instead.
I think, respectfully, that's enough.
Reporters always use this type of question to fish for sound bites they can use to attack someone. If he says that Mormon's aren't Christians then he can be cast as a religious fanatic intolerant bigot. If he says that they are then they think that can be used against him by pissing off conservative Christians who don't feel that way. It's a lose-lose situation they always try to put Republicans or conservatives in.
