I am nearly finished reading her book...it has gone a long way to remove the concept of moderate Islam, as much as I do not want to give up on that. The implications for me are depressing, but it is not that I cannot see the truth.
One of my known shortcomings is that I always try to see the best in people, often to a fault. After reading her book, I am going to have difficulty retaining the concept of moderate muslims, even though there are a few that I know and like very well. I am going to have to figure out a way to deal with this on a personal level.
Didn't that crazy Salt Lake mayor also lead a protest against a visit by the President to his fair city?
