Which makes them Hillary supporters in my book. Never thought I would see Freepers agreeing with NBC -- This is hilarious!

You can take that to the bank on Berger. Rudy is one tough person when it comes to law and order. He is the one that took on the mob in NYC as the US Attorney. He has a spine and is as tough as nails when it comes to criminals.

Really!? Tough as nails on criminals?

That's why he kept New York City a sanctuary city for hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens. And then when the Federal Government wanted to crack down on him, he sued the Federal Government so that he could continue his sanctuary city policies. Losing that lawsuit, he still flouted the law and continued to coddle hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens.

And then there's Bernard Kerik. Not only did Giuliani name corrupt, mobbed up Kerik to head the NYPD, but he took him on as a business partner at Giuliani-Kerik LLC. That not being enough, Giuliani strong armed President Bush into appointing corrupt, mobbed up Kerik to head the Department of Homeland Security.

Yes. That's how tough on criminals Rudy is. Oh, he'll send the cops after squeegee men, beggers, and hookers but he'll put criminals in the highest level, law enforcement positions.

They were here in 2000 as anti-Bush as you can get because he wasn't conservative enough and then back with the anti-Arnold threads when Davis was being recalled. None of us fit their mold of being 'pure' conservatives. It just dawned on me that they only consider social issues when saying some candidates and all of us are not 'pure' conservatives but when did the word conservative only mean social issues?

Barry Goldwater was the father of the modern day conservative and he wasn't all about social issues -- he was a standup on defense and take it to the enemy. That's my type of conservative and actually what conservatism was all about in the 60's. I believe in moral values but I am not going to put them above the defense of this Nation.

There's a pic of Hillary smooching Arafat's wife, and her black pantsuits qualify for menswear, don't they?

Bush is old news and now after us for daring to say that Rudy would make a good candidate. Looks like a lot of us are one in the same too!

I agree. It's funny how even the 'hated' NBC, MSM Marxist propagandists, have suddenly gained great credibility for the "TRUTH"!.......ROTFLMBO!

P.S. Let's see them broadcast a hit piece on Hunter! When they do, I will be on life support from laughing myself into a coma!

The vast majority of the left-wing media PUSH-polling that's been going on has PROMOTED RINO-rudy (not tried to hurt him, as this ridiculous article suggests), because:

1. He's VERY MUCH like a liberal demonRAT, so IF he is able to become President, the libs can live and work with him on THEIR issues, like Draconian gun control, killing babies, etc.

2. He has So MUCH BAGGAGE that the libs can torpedoe his winning of the Presidency by DESTROYING him in their left-wing media outlets.

I heard Richard Miniter being interviewed on the radio Friday A.M. He writes for National Review Online and is author of "The Shadow War", "Disinformation" and "Losing Bin Laden - How Bill Clinton's failure's unleashed global terror"
SO he is well conected in political circles.

He stated that Rudy is getting the Social Conservative Republicans in Michigan to write checks to his campaign. They hear what he has to say and they are liking it. If he's able to get Michigandrs to no only support him, but write checks, he should be able to get the same results countrywide.

So telling the real truth about Rudy's liberal side is bad? Hmmm.

Governs

You have to understand only he can decide who will be a conservative, he has a lot of friends who think the same way. Terms like myopic, denial, stuff like that come to mind.

Well said! They should have learned from past experience that some of us are not going to throw in the towel. I learned a long time ago not to take them on directly as they keep coming back as we see on here.

We had a rationale discussion going the other night and up pops one of the bashers that tried to disrupt the thread and in the morning they took up their cause totally ignoring a rationale discussion from the late night.

How can your screen name be governsleastgovernsbest, and be willing to vote for a liberal, big government, gun-grabbing, northeastern inner-city POLICE/NANNY-STATE RINO?

I was here in 2000 (I've been here longer than almost everybody) and I recall Jim Robinson saying some of the most awful anti-Bush things imaginable. I have quotes if you don't believe me. I also recall that, back then, Alan Keyes was being INVITED by Free Republic to our public events as the keynote speaker. That was before the liberals infested the place and started trashing conservatives every day.

In this case, unfortunately, this NBC reporter's reporting is more accurate than yours.

Admit it: You just don't like the truth being told about Giuliani.

I think you hit the nail on the head, and...

a RAW NERVE here at the same time.

That's childish. I know you are a better debater than to resort to such childish practices, but because there is a strong conservative and viable candidate who is far better than rudy, you just can't get past the fart-joke style of posting, huh?

I donated to Tancredo yesterday simply because I want the illegal immigration issue to be a part of the election. It means nothing to Bush but it's destroying the backbone of the middle class here in SoCal.
