Posted on 01/26/2007 4:16:27 PM PST by AnnAdoringFan
here's the rumor...
FNC is going to air two episodes of a show called "The Half-Hour News Hour" in early February. if these episodes do well, then it will become a regular show.
the program will be conservate news satire in the style of John Stewart and that sort of thing.
there will be a lot of cameos by famous conservatives... including Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter.
the first air date looks to be February 9th, and the show is being made by one of the producers of 24...

Is this what Rush was talking about today? Having to do 12 takes with him answering the phone?

Eh. We'll see. I'm always suspicious of comedians who go in to a program with an agenda. I'd hate if it became a mirror-image of Jon Stewart, where the audience is laughing because they know it's "right" to do so.
I just wish they don't feel as if they can't mock conservatives. If they're fair and just treat conservatives like real people and not exhibits in a zoo, it'll be funny enough.

When Ann comes out with some new pics ... I'll obey the rules ... THIS is better, anyway ....
