"Clouds? More like a tornado. Your boy is a nut. Oswald killed Kennedy, read that whole site."

I stand corrected re: Prouty.
_____
Good, I've had one person here "see the light", looks like another hundred or so to go.
Oswald killed Kennedy, the case has been solved for a long time, delve into the conspiracy theories ONLY for great, fun, paranoid reading material.

"Yes, I believe the evidence."
____ No, you believe the *conclusions*, not the evidence.
Evidence is what it is. It is the *conclusions* that are *drawn* from the evidence that are 'believed' or not and those go both ways.
But, your choice of words to conflate evidence and conclusions are common when one wants to make their case seem stronger than it really is.
Or maybe OJ really didn't do it.
You know what I'm saying
____ Dan, are you an expert on the ACTUAL evidence?? Those who have gone in depth and don't have a book/documentary/tv series/special to sell believe Oswald killed Kennedy.
The most logical conculsion is that Oswald killed Kennedy, WHICH conspiracy theory has been proven????? Look how many HERE believe ONE of the many "theories". Which "theory" has been meticulously proven-I'll tell you, the Oswald one, NO others.
As for OJ, to anyone with half a brain, there was a mountain of evidence leaving no doubt OJ was the killer, just like there is a mountain of evidence on Oswald. Still, many people believe OJ is innocent, same with Oswald. You know what I'm saying Yes, I know what you're saying, better than you do. You're parroting things that you haven't really researched and taking at face value.
Here's an experiment for you:
Try and prove ANY of the conspiracy theories with the wealth of information out there.
Then, try and prove Oswald did it with the mountains of evidence about him.
The difference is staggering.

This has been blown up and destroyed already.
The "magic bullet"--When the jump seat is properly positioned as it was in Dallas that day shows that the trajectory and wounds from the bullet line up EXACTLY with a bullet fired from Oswald's perch in the School Book Depository.
If you would like to not believe the SCIENCE and PHYSICS used to prove it, believe away.
The "Magic Bullet" pictured here IS NOT the "magic bullet!!!!!"
A pristine bullet placed next to the ACTUAL "magic bullet" shows plenty of damage done to the bullet, consistent with the damage it did.
HIGH TREASON is a load of crap.

"LBJ's WIFE had money, not LBJ himself"
Not exactly true. Lady Bird was the daughter of a moderately successful local businessman in Texas who was not rich, at least by Texas standards.
The source of LBJ's fortune and political influence was unadulterated political graft and corruption that he nourished from his earliest days as a political operative starting with his work for FDR as a new Deal Program Administrator.
An example of how Johnson made money through political graft was his practice of having cronies manipulate radio licenses issued by the FCC. The FCC would change, by fiat, the relative position of a radio license on the dial or revoke the license outright thereby adversely effecting the commercial value of the radio station. Associates of Johnson would then purchase the station at fire sale prices in the wake of the adverse license decision by the FCC. A few months later the license would be restored to its original status thereby reaping a financial windfall for LBJ and his cronies. LBJ always conducted these transactions in Lady Bird's name in order to avoid closer scrutiny of these corrupt operations. At one time, Lady Bird was the putative head of a Media Empire even though she had no prior business or financial management experience or training. The entire structure was an absurd fiction that drew attention way from LBJ's political extortion and influence peddling operation.
An example LBJ's business practices are described here to give a picture of the man's character. LBJ's career is completely consistent with a man who is mired in megalomania ( he once offered the Pope a bust of himself as a gift) and ruthless, amoral ambition. The only coherent, logically consistent theory of the JFK assassination is developed int he remarkable book "The Texas Connection" by Craig Zirbel.
In Zirbel's Book, the various left-wing/CIA/DOD conspiracy theories of the assassination are demolished and LBJ's motive for the assassination are detailed with great clarity. Zirbel begins by detailing the fact that right-hand man orchestrated assassinations are the most common types by far historically. LBJ was not only JFk's right-hand man thereby having inside information about JFK's itinerary but he also was facing political oblivion and probably a long prison sentence prior to the assassination because of emerging political scandals.
In 1963 LBJ faced a dire situation The Billy Sol Estses and Bobby Baker scandals were being investigated by Senate Committees and the Justice Department (the sordid details surrounding these scandals is described in great detail in Zirbel's book). The final investigative result of either scandal would have ruined LBJ politically and possibly sent him to prison. Additionally, LBJ was told that the JFK planned to drop him from the 1964 ticket. It is amazing that Zirbel is the only assassination researcher who has properly highlighted these facts about LBJ's dire situation in 1963: pending political disgrace and prison.
After JFK's death and LBJ's ascension to the Presidency, the Bobby Baker and Billy Sol Estes' investigations were abandoned by the Senate and DOJ "in the national interest". This turn of events uniquely redounded to the benefit of LBJ and LBJ alone.
The premise of Zirbel's book the the premise of all successful murder investigations: "Qui Bono?". In the case of the JFK murder only LBJ benefited and in the nick of time from LBJ's perspective. LBJ was also the only person who had the connections in the Dallas Police Department to "manage" the post-assasination investigation and autopsy.
The recent death bed confession of LBJ's mistress Judith Exner, the posthumous revelations of Howard Hunt in his book and the revelations in the Blair McClellan book all detail the centrality of LBJ in the assassination. the posthumous nature of Hunt's account should lend it additional weight.

At some point after signing it, he has been quoted as making the other statement. I am a Texan and in Texas his bad deeds are legendary, vote fraud, murder and everything in between.
I personally knew about the sleazy land deal concerning the property where NASA was built. We had friends who had adjoining property on Clear Lake. Ladybird Johnson bought the land and then as if by *magic* NASA was located right there.

In hindsight---ie, seeing that Kennedy was successfully assassinated and no one is PERFECTLY certain Oswald did it alone---one can overlay any combination of circumstances, and any possible perpetrators, with no more perfect certainty than the Warren Commission had, and have a satisfying, seamless composition.
However, if you presented the plan to Fidel/the KGB/the mob/LBJ in 1963, and said it all hinged on everything going perfectly and the keystone player of it all was this psycho-spazzolian Oswald...Fidel, Yuri, Sam and Lyndon would have beat the living crap out of you for insulting their intelligence.
Then they'd have beat some out of the clerk who scheduled your appointment.
And of that one CAN be certain.
To: Dawgreg
when are they ever gonna see that it just might be possible for a bitter, little nobody to take down the most powerful leader on earth.....right under their noses? Years ago, when Tom Foley was speaker of the house, I pulled up to a stop light...and there was the third most powerful person in the country sitting in a car right next to me. Now, when there was some kind of huge event, he always showed up with a bit of an entourage, so I just sort of assumed that he always traveled like that...but no...he and another guy, chit chatting in the SUV next to me.
While the President has an entourage, and we're much more careful since the Kennedy assassination, President's are still very vulnerable. When Nixon was running for reelection, he flew into our small town on AF1. Almost the entire town went out to meet him. There was no special security of any kind to get onto the tarmac. First come, first serve. He shook folks hands along the half inch rope line that protected him from us. He had an SS detail, but that's it. A lone crackpot could have done terrible damage.
I've always thought this hyper-conspiracy stuff is just a hedge to help us "feel" that our leaders and our country aren't nearly as vulnerable as they are. They are basically sitting ducks. Despite how it might look in the movies.

Charles McCarry, a former CIA agent, casts the extended Diem family as the perps in revenge for the JFK/RFK ordered assassination/coup of President Diem. The Diem's certainly had some interesting connections, but unfortunately for them, they were mostly with Kennedy-favoured state department types.
When the Vietnamese LLDB/ Special Forces and airborne officers jumped in on the coup plot along with support from the French Unione Corse [Corsican Mafia, as in *French Connection*/heroin] the die was cast.
More from the Diem POV here.
General Duong Van Minh, General Le Van Kim, unknown LLDB Colonel, General Tran Van Don, on the Anniversary of the Republic of Vietnam, October 26th, 1963, 5 days before the coup d'etat.

Now if you can whip me up a good Eggs Benedict I would be eternally grateful, I wish it was an option for dinner where there are some real chefs in the kitchen.

What, pray tell, is going to impart this rearward momentum when everything is moving forward? You are confusing the momentum of the center of mass with the momentum of the individual fragements. The center of mass will move forward, but not all the individual fragments have to.
But look at post 280. The head moves forward immediately after being hit, putting to rest any claims that JFK was shot from the front because his head went back. I went forward before it went back.

I don't dispute Johnson's sleaze factor; he was a politican after all. I just dispute that he murdered a sitting president.
