This is every parents nightmare, and I am so happy that both families got their sons back..
That said, if it was my child, I would sequester them in the safe haven of my home, and not let the press near them. Then I would get them into intensive counseling.
I would speak to the press, to help other missing children, but my child would not be present. That's just my take on it.

I agree with you however I guess it was their choice to make. Whether wrong or right, history will tell the tale. We really do not know how we would react, what choices we would make, what choices we would make under duress unless we have been there. But by the way some act on here, the parents have committed the unpardonable sin. Get over it already. It is like beating a dead horse.

God forbid any here ever have to live the nightmare. But your approach seems very prudent and wise to me.
Thankfully kids come with a very good bounce back feature from things adults do - in most cases.
I also wish the families the best and am glad they got their kids back. I hope the dirt bag has special place in hell.

I agree with you. I think I would even move if it was my son, and start a new life...But maybe it is better for them to live where they are. I don't know..... I just hope it all works out for these boys and that monster is in jail getting his arse raped repeatedly each and everyday for the rest of his life. Too bad we put these perv's in a safe part of the jail. Thats what really has me fuming. He will be protected and not be a victim. Its not justice in my eyes. He needs to feel what those boys felt. I don't care if it wrong in anyone else's eyes either. He deserves it and more. Inmates have their own form of justice and I truly hope this monster gets some.
