It was a fine speech. GWB looked centered, sure and at peace with his decisions. I thinnk he has transcended politics, knows the stakes in the WOT and was head and shoulders above any other politician in that room.

He is a fine man, a fine president. He deserves better than what he is getting including from smart aleck adolescent freepers on board. I understand dissent but what I see is disrespect, smart remarks, lack of thought or depth from some.

It sickens me.

That sounds right to me. He has taken everyone's best shots and is still standing; and knows he will be standing until he leaves office. Political considerations truly mean nothing to him now.
