My company gives me a free membership in a health club. So every year, I have an imputed income that I have to put on my return, and I pay tax on that income that I never see.
Why should other taxpayers pay higher taxes so that I can get a free health club membership? If an individual has to pay for health insurance with post-tax dollars, why should I get my insurance with pre-tax dollars?
It is called a benefit. Do you not believe in capitlalism when independent companies are able to give benefits to hard working employees?
Or should we all just suckle off the government.
Why should others have more than others?
Is that what you mean?
