Well hopefully people like us will run the tone in '08, but I wouldn't hold your breath.
Unfortunately, boys and girls, that pretty much sums up the Dimoratic Party. They're all for "War," as long as it doesn't require shooting, or stabbing, or anything bloody like that.
Nothing funnier than people who SAY they are leaving, but then keep posting.

Ijust got polled by King 5, the Seattle NBC affiliate, and I thought of those serial callers, and told them I was an independent. I gave Bush all top marks to their negative poll. They had two negative choices and one good for each answer.

Agreed. Unfortunately, I think the bar is so low for Democrats that anything that appears reasonable in delivery or substance is now praised. All Webb had to do was avoid a Dean-like scream, and since he managed to do that he's praised.
It's a sad state of affairs when no one in the MSM bothers to actually look at the substance of a speech and make the points you just did.

It isn't like us, the people, but it is like the 'Rats, ask any South Vietnamese, especially the mountain people, but also the Vietnamese who were our friends. They were abandoned. The father of a coworker spent years in a "reeducation" camp, and he was one of the lucky ones. And it was the 'Rats in Congress, cheered on what we can call the "Cut and Run media, when there was a Republican President. If they can pull it off again, they will.

If you don't even know if Jveritas is male or female then it is quite obvious that you haven't paid any attention to his works at all. Also, for you to say that you don't care about his "good deeds" says even MORE about you.
IMO, you are a hothead, a disruptor, and are less than valuable on this forum. But hey, that's just my opinion.
I heard Rush Limbaugh today and he was basically for the President heathcare plan and did not see in it an offense against the "conservative principle".
What is that they say about Rush followers, mind-numbed robots? Rush says its ok, so its ok. Rush has always been a defender for Prez Bush. I admire his loyalty. I suggest you read Bush's health insurance plan yourself and make up your own mind as to whether it is redistributing the wealth or not, because it it.
Melanie Hobson was just explaining (on ABC) how the proposed health care tax credit will work also. Those single persons who buy their own health insurance ... pay the total premium, no employer subsidy ... will be able to claim a $7,500 tax credit.
That would be a boon to the self-employed and owners of small businesses.
Thank you for those uplifting words. Sometimes I too need to temper my frustration with him not responding forcefully. But with God's help and grace he will keep this country strong, safe and free.
