It's more than that.
It's also an attempt to open up access to young 'fresh meat'.
The homo agenda is fixated by youth, and 'enjoying' it. The more they can recruit, the more they can enjoy. That may sound farfetched to some people, but it's also part of the 'right' for homo couples to adopt.
The homosexual urge dominates a homo's life. Put into this context, it's quite obvious.
There is a double-standard for the GLBTQ community and supporters. No one is supposed to call names or bully them (which I agree with!) but they, in turn, can call (anyone who believes homosexuality is a sin) names. "Homophobia" has been defined NOT ONLY as a "fear" or "hatred" of (homosexuality), but has been extended to include anyone who believes the behavior is "sinful." This is printed in their definition of the word homophobia, and is an attack on (and name-calling) of anyone who believes the Bible is clear on this issue. It's one thing to protect gay youth from harm (again, I agree with protecting them...we are called to walk and live in love!) but to imply that the GLBTQ advocacy groups should be able to infringe on my religious BELIEFS is a different story. I have the right to freedom of worship, as well as freedom of religious beliefs. I believe the Bible clearly defines this behavior as sinful, just like any other sin. (And we ALL have sinned.) To claim that I (or anyone else believing it's "sinful") is "homophobic" is not only inaccurate, it is also engaging in name-calling, the very thing they claim to be opposed to. They need to make up their minds...what IS their agenda? I belive it's to silence anyone who opposes their views, and to go beyond protecting their safety...into forcing their beliefs onto everyone, insisting that if you don't agree, you're in the same boat with those who would attack or harm them.
