Why are so many people single?

Simple: Our generation, the Baby-boomers made it possible.

No-fault insurance, no fault-divorce, abortion on demand, everything is OK "as long as it doesn't hurt anyone." Does that sound familiar?

We were once a tough nation, we are now a country comprised of pussies who can rationalize any action - so long as we benefit, and everyone else be damned.

How's that?

I blame lawyers. They hurt plenty and people don't want to take the risk.

Nice post.

Most may not agree but it seems the baby boomer's became the generation of the "whats in it for me, one agenda, feel good" me first cry babies.

The old traditional Democrat party turned into the party of Godless perversion and the Republicans fearing that some leftists reporter might say bad things about them have capitulated right down to the Democrat talking points.

The dried up old feminazis of the 60's and 70's stomped and raged about their freedom.

Well dearies you got your freedom and I hope you enjoying dying alone in some old folks warehouse.

Who can respect a generation that turned their backs on America and the soldiers willing to fight and die so they could dope up, sex up, trash up and denigrate the greatest country on earth.

I ask you who would want to be married to some old feminazi with her screwed up ideas of womanhood.

On the same turn who would want to marry any male willing to compromise his value system just to suit some old dried up, used up feminazi gal.

Just another opinion

Actually, it's more that while women pay an emotional price for a marriage gone wrong, for men it's a financial meltdown.

No fault-divorce

You've got to love the term "no fault divorce". It's deceptive left wing legal mumbo-jumbo for "it's always the man's fault".

-------------------------------------------------------

Bullshit from a self-hating boomer. Anybody with even the slightest knowledge of Roe v. Wade knows that there were zero boomers on the court and zero boomers arguing the case or writing the laws.

As for no-fault divorce it was started in California by Reagan in 1969 when the oldest boomer was all f 23 and most were in Jr. HS.

"No-fault" divorce was pioneered in the United States by the state of California with the passage of the Family Law Act of 1969. The Act was signed by Governor Ronald Reagan on September 4, 1969[6], and it took effect on January 1, 1970. It abolished the old common law action for divorce and replaced it with the proceeding for dissolution of marriage on the grounds of "irreconciliable differences."

Your addition of no-fault insurance in this topic is just silly.

'Kin A!

We have truly become a nation of Lanny Davises and Rahm Emmanuels...uberpussies. The kinds of guys, who used to get routinely pounded in High School for being whiners...by guys who smoked and took shop classes...

Think about it: We are a a Nation where a Black Actor on Grays Anatomy, can be FORCED to go meet the Gays because he might or might have tossed the word 'fag' into a conversation. Isiah Washington should have decked Patrick Dempsey...

Often I thinking of packing up the family and moving to Australia...the last haven of manliness...on this planet...

To be correct, abortion on demand and no fault divorce were products of the G.I. and Silent Generations, as Roe v. Wade dates to 1973, when there were few, if any, Baby Boomers in the legislatures, Congress, or the courts. Divorce laws were liberalized on the state level in the 1960s and 1970s, when veterans of World War II dominated the legislatures.

The slide of America into moral degeneracy was well underway well before the Beatles landed at JFK Airport in New York, or Mario Savio led the "Free Speech Movement" at Berkeley.
